Stewarts Law hires PwC Legal partner as new group head
Stewarts Law has hired partner David Pickstone from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Legal as head of its new tax litigation group.
The new group follows a trend from the past several years at Stewarts. Just last year, the firm created an international arbitration group when it hired partner Philippa Charles away from Mayer Brown. Back in 2010, they hired Tim Spillane, an associate from Simmons & Simmons, as partner when creating an employment litigation group.
The firm additionally has aviation and travel, clinical negligence, divorce and family and personal injury groups, all part of a high value litigation strategy. The firm has almost quadrupled its revenue from £11.9m to £45.2m since 2008.
