Minter Ellison adds three partners from Maddocks
Minter Ellison has added three partners from rival firm Maddocks into its tax practice. Carmen McElwain, litigator, Peter Poulos and Chris Kinsella have all joined Minter Ellison and brought with them their teams of associates. All were previously partners at Maddocks and formerly with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Minter's new chief executive Tony Harrington has ties to PwC, where he previously held several senior management positions. Harrington himself is not a lawyer, but had a significant role in building PwC's Australian tax practice.
McElwain joins the firm's office in Melbourne while Poulos and Kinsella will work in the firm's Sydney office.
