Pinsent Masons plans to launch in Sydney and Melbourne
Pinsent Masons has announced it plans to open two offices in Australia, in Melbourne and Sydney. Former Maddocks CEO David Rennick, who did a strategic review for Pinsent over the past year to assess its options in the region, will lead the endeavour.
Joining Rennick will be Maddocks partners Greg Campbell and Simela Karasavidis, former Pinsents parter Micahel Battye, and London-based Pinsent litigation partner Andrew Denton, who will relocate to join the team. Adam Perl also joins the team from his current role as senior in-house counsel at Australian infrastructure company Leighton.
The practice will service existing clients who are currently being served from the Hong Kong, China and Singapore offices.
