Latham & Watkins names firm's first female MP in London
Latham & Watkins has named finance partner Jay Sadanandan London managing partner, after current managing partner Nick Cline decided to step down after his five-year term ends. Sadanandan is notably Latham's first female London managing partner.
Sadanandan has been deputy managing partner since March 2013. She also was a member of the firm's succession committee, which is a group of 15 partners who oversee the process to select a new global chair and managing partner at the firm.
Sadanandan's promotion paved the way for employment and benefits partner Catherine Drinnan's to be appointed deputy managing partner.
