Dentons appoints new UKMEA CEO

March 12, 2015 Dentons has appointed a new UKMEA CEO, London corporate partner Jeremey Cohen. Cohen will take over for Matthew Jones when his fixed four-year term ends. In the undersaking of his new role, Cohen will be a member of Dentons' global board and global management committee in addition to being responsible for the UKMEA region.

Cohen is the current leader of the firm's UKMEA corporate and TMT divisions. He has served on the UKMEA regional board since 2011. He was previously co-head of Dentons' London corporate practice for five years. He has been a partner since 2000.

Jones informed the board he would not seek reappointment this year. He will remain a partner at the firm and continue to serve on the global board. His role as co-head of energy, transport and infrastructure no longer exists after internal restructuring by the firm.
