NSA general counsel rejoins Mayer Brown

March 18, 2015 NSA general counsel Rajesh De has rejoined his former firm, Mayer Brown, after six years. He was general counsel at the NSA since 2012. He rejoins Mayer Brown to lead its privacy and security practice in its Washington, D.C. office.

De led a team of 100 lawyers and staff while a member of the NSA's senior leadership team. He regularly interfaced with the White House, Departments of Defense, State, and Justice as well as the CIA and FBI on behalf of the NSA.

De boosts Mayer Browns cybersecurity capabilities.
