Greenberg Traurig Maher nabs Mayer Brown head
Greenberg Traurig Maher has hired away the head of antitrust and competition in Mayer Brown’s London office, Gillian Sproul. Sproul was with Mayer Brown for 10 years. Prior to her time at Mayer Brown, she was with legacy firm Denton Wild Sapte. Sproul was promoted to her current position six years ago in 2009.
Sproul joins Greenberg Traurig in July of this year. Counting her addition, the firm will have 22 partners in its London office. Sproul has experience with complex mergers and joint ventures and she has represented clients in front oft he EU and UK regulators and courts.
Greenberg Traurig is seeking to expand its office space in London.
