Fried Frank raids Kirkland & Ellis funds team

May 28, 2015 Three partners from Kirkland & Ellis have resigned and will be taking new positions with Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson at a date yet to be confirmed.

Two partners, Mark Mifsud and Alexandra Conroy, worked with private fund managers to advise them as they managed a big spectrum of private investment funds, such as infrastructure, debt funds, real estate and private equity.

The third partner, Kate Downey, was worked with fund sponsors and financial institutions that are involved in similar deals. The three partners originally worked together at legacy firm SJ Berwin before joining Kirkland & Ellis in 2007.

Last year, Kirkland's London head Graham White left the firm to become Fried Frank's first London managing partner.
