Thailand firm launches in Cambodia

June 9, 2015 Thailand firm Tilleke & Gibbins has opened an office in Cambodia’s capital city, Phnom Penh. The firm, headquartered in Bangkok, aims to expand coverage over the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region before the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) launches at the end of 2015.

In addition to the office its opening, Tilleke & Gibbins has offices in Thailand, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam. All in all, the firm maintains a presence in six out of 10 of the ASEAN nations.

The AEC is expected to boost growth in the region significantly, because it will allow free movement of goods, services, labour and instruments between the ASEAN member states.
