BLP corporate head resigns months after election loss
Berwin Leighton Paisner’s head of corporate, David Collins, has resigned from the firm just months after losing an election bid to become managing partner. Lisa Mayhew, employment partner, won the February head-to-head election.
The election was the first contested election for the role in 16 years after the previous managing partner, Neville Eisenberg, stepped down after his fifth consecutive term ended. He has since taken the role of senior partner at the firm.
Collins is in the market for another position after 20 years at BLP.
