Dentons engaged in merger talks around world
Dentons has signed non-disclosure agreements with 21 firms in different parts of the world to negotiate potential future mergers. The firm aims to expand its presence in Europe and Asia as well as take root in Latin America.
The regions where the firm has interest to expand include regions where it has an existing presence, like Germany, Spain and the Netherlands in Europe as well as regions where it does not yet have a presence, like Japan, Australia and all of Latin America.
Earlier this year, Dentons agreed to a merger with McKenna Long & Aldridge. That followed after the firm’s January merger with Chinese firm Dacheng, making it the largest law firm worldwide.
