Olswang Berlin office to become independent
Olswang made a statement confirming that its Berlin office, with 13 equity partners and more staff, will spin off to become an independent boutique firm later this year.
The office’s 13 partners work mainly on corporate and finance matters and have reached an agreement with the firm to separate without affecting the employees at the office and with careful regard to meet client expectations.
The firm’s office in Munich will be its center of focus for growth in Germany. Since the separation is by mutual agreement under amicable conditions, the process will take place over several months and will not rule out future cooperation between the firms.
Additionally, Olswang announced that corporate partner Robert Heym will join its Munich office.
