White & Case partners re-elect chairman
White & Case has re-elected its chairman Hugh Verrier to a third consecutive term in his post that will stretch until 2019. Verrier was formerly Moscow head before being elected to be chairman for the first time in 2007. Four years ago he stood unopposed in his first re-election.
Verrier's first election in 2007 ushered in a new management era at the firm, seeing the appointment of numerous regional and practice group heads. A few of those regional heads also sit on the firm's four person executive committee. They are Oliver Brettle, London office executive partner, and Donald Baker, Sao Paulo office head. Additionally, former regional section head of banking in the USA, David Koschik, sits on the executive committee.
