Morgan Lewis & Bockius lure K&L Gates partners
Morgan Lewis & Bockius is hiring three finance partners from K&L Gates to join its global transactions services team in London. Matthew Duncan, Julian Goodman and Paul Matthews previously arrived together at K&L Gates in 2012 from Sidley Austin.
Duncan mainly works on banking, capital markets and derivative matters. Matthews specializes in derivates work. Goodman, who was promoted just last year to partner, works mainly in real estate with an emphasis on financing.
In addition to these hires, the firm brought on employment partner Pulina Whitaker earlier this week from King & Spalding. The hires this past week were the first for the firm since the end of last year, when the firm took on 226 partners from legacy firm Bingham McCutchen.
