Brodies' revenue up 11 percent

July 28, 2015 Scottish firm Brodies announced a fifth consecutive year of revenue and profit growth. This year, the firm experienced 11.2 percent gains in turnover, increasing from £52.1m to £57.9m. Last year, the firm reported 13.2 percent gains, increasing from £46m to £52.1m.

The firm's net profits grew 14 percent.

The firm has followed a strategy of organic growth through investment. The firm has invested significantly in its client services at its Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow offices. The investments saw the firm's costs increase by 8.8 percent. It's cash balance however jumped 53 percent.

The firm's headcount raised to 603 last year and it made up seven partners, its largest ever promotion round.
