Trowers & Hamlins autumn retention revealed

July 29, 2015 Trowers & Hamlins autumn retention rate dropped to 71 percent, as the firm retained five of its seven qualifying trainees. Of the five retained trainees, two will join the London office while one will join each of the Dubai, Exeter and Manchester offices. Due to the firm's small intake sizes, its retention rates are susceptible to large fluctuations.

The trainees are spread between the banking and finance, commercial property, and corporate and dispute resolution departments.

Last week the firm announced that its international net profits dropped 96 percent. It's overseas offices in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dubai, Malaysia and Oman accounted for just 0.5 percent of its revenues.
