BLM turnover exceeds targets
Berrymans Lace Mawer, otherwise known as BLM, saw its turnover grow 17 percent from last year, going from £89m to £104.1m on the strength of its merger last year with Scottish firm HBM Sayers. Last August, managing partner Mike Brown softly predicted that the firm's revenues would pass the £100m threshold. That target was comfortably exceeded.
The figures also include the results of the firm's merger with Campbell Fitzpatrick Solicitors in September, which brought eight partners and 13 lawyers into the firm's stable.
The firm only has offices in the UK but does maintain best friends relationships with firms throughout the world in Asia, the United States, Europe and South Africa.
