California Supreme Court ruling let law firms off malpractice hook

Arter & Hadden, LLP and others the Supreme Court unanimously overturned a ruling by the Second Appellate District Court in the statute of limitations (SoL) on legal malpractice. The lower court ruled the SoL is tolled so long as the same lawyer repesents the same client no matter the firm.
