Linklaters begins narrowing managing partner shortlist
Linklaters partnership board has a final version of its short list of candidates to replace outgoing managing partner Simon Davies, who will step down one year before the end of his term in January.
The final short list contains six candidates. Over the next two months, the board will narrow the list to one person, whom the board will then nominate for the role. The nomination will then be ratified by a partnership vote in November.
The final candidates for the nomination are:
Michael Bennett, current global disputes head
Marc Harvey, Asia head
Michael Kent, global finance head
Gideon Moore, former head of global banking
Pieter Riemer, Europe head
Tom Shropshire, co-head of operational intelligence
Currently, Bennett, Kent and Moore are believed to be frontrunners.
