Mori Hamada & Matsumoto expanding within Japan
Mori Hamada & Matsumoto, a Japanese firm, is expanding its reach within the country, opening a new branch in Nagoya in the next month. The new office will be run at the onset by partner Yoshihiro Kojima. Additionally, associates Mikio Sonoda and Tomoaki Murai will be staffed there.
The new branch is being established to serve clients in Japan's Tokai region. The offered services will range from litigation and dispute resolution to antitrust matters, corporate practice, intellectual property and even crisis management. It will also coordinate with the firm's Japan-based lawyers and colleagues in its overseas offices to handle cross-border work.
The new branch is the firm's fourth in Japan and is headquarter'd in Tokyo. It has overseas offices in Singapore, Bangkok, Beijing,Shanghai and Yangon.
