Kobre & Kim opens doors in Seoul
Kobre & Kim, a US-based litigation boutique, is opening an office in Seoul, South Korea. The firm's co-founder, Michael Kim, will relocate to Seoul to manage the new office.
The firm's new office will be limited entirely to disputes and investigations. The firm's business model is to work with other law firms as conflict and special litigation or investigative counsel. It's plan is to pursue the same model in Seoul.
Kim, for whom the firm is partly named, is fluent in Korean. The office will begin with Kim, US-qualified lawyer Robin Baik and financial analyst Jean Kim. Baik is a native Korean.
Kobre & Kim will now boast nine offices worldwide with the new office opening.
