Skadden hires Linklaters partner as tax head in Paris
Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom has hired tax partner Thomas Perrot from Linklaters to head its tax practice in Paris, as the firm tries to boost its offering in the area.
Skaddens Paris office currently has three partners, making Perrot the fourth partner at the office, once he joins. The other partners all focus on M&A, including Paris head Armand Grumberg. Perrot will lead the tax practice and will have counsel Philippe Derouin on his team.
Perrot's practice is centered mainly on domestic and international tax matters that are related to M&A – both for listed and non-listed companies. Additionally, his practice involves tax issues connected to finance and financial instruments.
Perrot joined Linklaters in 2007 as counsel and was made partner in 2012.
