Mishcon de Reya lures DAC Beachcroft head
Mishcon de Reya has lured away Anita Riviera, the head of planning at DAC Beachcroft. Riviera will be Mishcon's eighth partner hire this year. She spent only just over a year at DAC, joining from Reynolds Porter Chamberlain.
Riviera will take on responsibilities that were previously being informally handled by real estate partner Daniel Farrand. Farrand had been leading the planning group in conjunction with the environmental group and will continue to head the environmental practice after Riviera's hire.
Mishcon blew through the £100m mark this year, raising its revenues 12.5 percent to £110m. The average profit per equity partner is believed to be approaching the £1m mark.
Riviera begins her new role on 5 October.
