Munich boutique firm hires away Latham & Watkins partner

October 20, 2015 Munich boutique firm Gütt Olk Feldhaus has hired away corporate partner Kilian Helmreich from Latham & Watkins. Helmreich is the third partner in the last four months to depart Latham & Watkins.

Gütt Olk Feldhaus was founded in 2011 by partners Tilmann Güt and Heiner Feldhaus, who hailed from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Sebastian Olk, who hailed from Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy. Attila Oldog joined the partners in 2013 from Hengeler Mueller. As such, Helmreich will join as the boutique's fifth partner.

Helmreich's practice is centered on domestic and cross-border M&A and private equity transactions. His clients in the past have included the likes of Bain Capital, Equinox and Paragon Partners. His practice fits into the scope of Gütt Olk Feldhaus, which advises clients on similar transactions.
