Gide Loyrette Nouel brings ally firm office into fold, loses quartet
Gide Loyrette Nouel has brought the Paris office of its Spanish ally firm Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira into its fold, adding a partner and three more lawyers to the firm.
Partner Nuria Bové and three other lawyers will form an Iberian desk to support Iberian and Latin American companies that operate in France as well as French companies that operate in the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America.
Bové is admitted to practice in both Paris and Barcelona. She launched Cuatrecasas’ office in Paris in 2004, joining from French firm UGGC & Associés.
Gides has also lost four senior associates, who have left the firm to establish a boutique firm named Almain. They are Cécile Davanne-Mortreux, Jérôme Debost, Thomas Fleinert-Jensen and Edgard Nguyen. Davanna-Mortreux and Nguyen are specialised in corporate law while Debost and Fleinert –Jensen practice mainly employment and commercial litigation, respectively.
The four banded together after discovering a shared desire to open their own firms.
