DLA Piper hires Clydes partner in Singapore
DLA Piper is boosting its Singapore office with the hire of infrastructure and structured finance specialist Michael Horn. Horn joins DLA from Clyde & Co as a partner. He is expected to be a leader in DLA's Indonesia practice and work closely with associate firm Ivan Almaida Baely & Firmansyah Law Fim, or IAB&F.
Horn has spent more than 20 years gaining experience in the Asia Pacific, developing his specialty on infrastructure transactions and the Indonesian market. He handles trade and commodities in addition to project finance and development. He has acted for governments, borrowers, lenders, credit enhancers and bond issuers.
At the beginning of the year, DLA brought on corporate partner Joe Bauerschmidt, previously of Jones Day, as well as Myles Hankin and John Viverito, previously of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher. Viverito is now managing partner in DLA's Singapore office.
