Two U.S. law firms take EADS to court on insider-trading claims

June 17, 2008 The European aerospace group EADS on Monday defended its record for transparency after two U.S. law firms fired opening salvos in a possible class-action lawsuit against the company, seizing on insider trading investigations in Europe.

Dreier, a law firm in New York, and Coughlin Stoia Geller Rudman & Robbins of San Diego said they had filed lawsuits alleging that EADS committed securities fraud and insider trading.
