Bevan Brittan grows young Leeds office
Bevan Brittan has boosted its partner ranks in its recently-launched Leeds office from four to seven partners. The firm has hired a specialist pair from DWF and a practice head from Simpson Millar. From DWF, Hugo Stephens and Richard Stirk come to firm as partners in its property practice. Deborah Powell joins the firm's property practice from Simpson Millar, where she was previously head of commercial property.
Bevan Brittan opened its office in Leeds just three months earlier. It plucked two lawyers from DWF to launch the office, including healthcare head and partner Michael Boyd. Boyd is now serving as the Leed's office head.
The office practices are centered around property, commercial and infrastructure work. The firm also intends to open an office in Manchester, part of its strategy to almost double the firm's revenues in a five-year span, from £35m to between £60m and £80m.
