TLT hires TMT partner in London

January 14, 2016 TLT has lured away a long time veteran of telecoms company BT, bringing Daniel Lloyd to the firm as a partner in its technology, media and telecoms practice.

Lloyd joined BT from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in 2000. In his almost 16 years at the telecoms company, Lloyd served in a number of capacities, including as the manager of the commercial law group for BT Legal, chair of the Business Consumer Co-ordination Group and since 2009, head of consumer law for BT Consumer.

Lloyd brings legal expertise on digital content and general expertise on consumer law compliance. His value to TLT is his considerable sector knowledge.

TLT has 100 lawyers in its London practice, and has demonstrated previously it will seek out specialist hires, as it did when it hired Jake McQuitty from Barclays Bank
