White & Case beefs up ranks of Indonesian ally
White & Case has lured two partners from the ally firm of Herbert Smith Freehills in Indonesia to its own newly associated local firm, Witara Cakra Advocates.
Kristo Molina, a capital markets partner, and Fajar Ramadhan, a banking partner, are leaving HSF-ally Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung to join Witara Cakra. Molina’s practice centers mainly on Indonesian equity capital markets. Ramadhan brings experience dealing with Indonesian banking and debt capital markets.
White & Case’s association with Witara Cakra is under a year old, having been established last May. The association marked White & Case’s third change of association firm in the region. It’s recent change was prompted after two partners from its former association firm, MD & Partners, departed to join Baker & McKenzie and Norton Rose Fulbright.
