EY adds partner from Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co
EY has hired Richard Goold, Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co’s co-chair of technology, to join its legal services business as a partner.
Goold held multiple leadership positions at Wragge, first heading up the firm’s United States sales team before ascending to his co-chair role in the technology division. He has advised clients throughout Europe and the US, working for more than 10 years in technology.
EY gained its ABS license in 2014, following in the footsteps of its rivals PwC and KPMG. Just before gaining the license, the firm hired Philip Goodstone from Addleshaw Goddard to be its head of legal services. Goodstone was corporate managing partner at his former firm. Goodstone was charged with launching the firm’s legal offering in the UK and Ireland.
