Fried Frank posts record results in 2015
Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson had record earnings in 2015, with revenues, net profits, profit per equity partner and average revenue per lawyer all showing strong growth.
Total revenue at the firm was the only of those results that fell short of double-digit growth, coming in just shy at 9.7 percent compared to the previous year. Total revenues in 2015 were $504m. Net profits increased nearly double that rate at 18 percent, totaling $228.5m.
The firm's total lawyer headcount did not shift significantly, even though the firm hired 15 lateral partners in London in the fiscal year. The average revenue per lawyer tracked the growth of total revenue, increasing 10 percent to $1.2m. Profit per equity partner meanwhile saw a 21 percent rise, landing at $2.2m.
The firm plans to relocate its London office to a space that will be nearly twice the size of its current premesis this summer.
