Half of partners at BLM Southampton depart
BLM is losing half of its partners from its Southampton office, including the head of Southampton and Bristol for the firm, Michael Renshaw.
The Southampton office had 16 partners, eight of whom have resigned from the firm. BLM last made headlines for restructuring its fraud team last February. The team was moved from Manchester to Birmingham, and those on the team were given the option to relocate or depart.
It is not clear which partners will leave in addition to Renshaw. It has recently had strong financial results, growing its revenue 17 percent in the 2014/15 financial year after a merger with Scottish firm HBM Sayers. The results exceeded expectations.
BLM runs 13 offices throughout the UK. Its London, Manchester and Birmingham offices are the firm’s three main offices.
