KWM losing two partners to Ashurst

April 20, 2016 Asian-headquartered global law firm King & Wood Mallesons is losing two partners to London-based multinational firm Ashurst. The departures are coming on the heels of KWM's March 2016 announcement that it would cut 15 percent of its partner positions in Europe, the UK and the Middle East, a restructuring decision that put 24 partners out on the job market.
The two departing partners are Darren Rogers and Patrick Williams. Rogers was promoted to partner in 2010, while Williams was promoted in 2015. Both partners, who advised on commercial real estate and development at KWM, will assume positions in Ashurst's real estate practice.
