Shearman & Sterling co-head leaves firm

July 11, 2016 Shearman & Sterling's co-head of private equity is leaving his position to join McDermott Will & Emery in New York. Jeremy Dickens joins the firm as a partner in its New York office.

Dickens has amassed close to three decades of experience working in private equity and is consistently ranked highly in industry publications worldwide. Before his time at Shearman, Dickens worked more than 18 years at Weil Gotshal, in the firm's Dallas, New York and London offices. He eventually served as co-head of the the capital markets practice there.
