Baker & McKenzie name new London head

August 3, 2016 Alex Chadwick has been selected to head up Baker & McKenzie’s London office for a three-year term, beginning in October 2016. He will be replacing Paul Rawlinson, an IP partner at Bakers who will serve as the firm’s first London-based global head as of October. Current global managing partner Eduardo Leite has held the position since 2010.

Chadwick has been with the firm since 1990, and made partner in 1999. He currently leads Bakers’ London tax practice and is a member of the firm’s Europe tax transactions steering committee. Chadwick was among four partners under consideration for the role.
