Olswang loses international telecoms head

August 4, 2016 Purvi Parekh has left her position as head of international telecommunications at Olswang, where she has been a partner since 2009. Parekh will start her own telecommunications consultancy, and will be replaced by partner Rob Bratby, who returns to the London office from Olswang’s Singapore office. Telecommunications is a major sector throughout the firm’s European offices, with a client base including Microsoft, Unilever, Cable & Wireless, Verizon, and Virgin Media.

Parekh’s transition is the latest in a string of Olswang partner exits during the past 18 months. Amid these changes, the firm has also considered a number of merger opportunities, as it seeks to build a stronger international presence.
