Marine firm next in Kennedys merger streak

Kennedys is expanding its London presence in a merger with marine boutique firm Waltons & Morse. A total of 28 Waltons lawyers, including 5 partners, will move to Kennedys’ London office by the end of the year, with the merger expected to complete in November. Waltons & Morse managing partner Chris Dunn will oversee a newly formed international marine team at Kennedys. This merger is the latest in Kennedys’ international push into Europe and Latin America. The firm has recently expanded operations in Brazil, Peru, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden through a combination or mergers and new office openings.
