Weil hires William Hay from Baring Asia

William Hay has been hired as senior counsel in the Hong Kong office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges. He previously served as general counsel at Baring Private Equity Asia, where he managed legal matters for the firm, as well as evaluation, management, fund raising, and exit of the firm’s $10 billion in portfolio investments. Before joining Baring, Hay served as general counsel of Colony Capital Asia Pacific and GE Capital Asia Pacific.
