Bakers revenue reaches 5-year high at $2.6bn
Baker & McKenzie increased turnover by 8 percent in 2015/16, reaching a five-year high of $2.62bn (£1.99bn). This year’s revenue jump followed a lackluster 2014/15, when revenue fell 4 per cent from $2.54bn to $2.43bn. The firm grew net profit by 14 per cent to $904m, with profit per equity partner (PEP) rising by 13 per cent to $1.3m.
Bakers has implemented a number of leadership changes in the past year, appointing Eduardo Leite as global chairman and London-based Paul Rawlinson as global chair. The firm anticipates continued global growth in the coming year.
