New Saudi association for Clifford Chance

Clifford Chance has entered into an association with Abuhimed Alsheikh Alhagbani Law Firm (AS&H), a newly formed Saudi firm. The move follows questioning from local authorities regarding the firm’s licensing arrangements. AS&H was founded by CC’s Fahad Abuhimed, who was previously a deputy minister at the Ministry of Commerce and Investment. AS&H will operate in Riyadh, replacing the current CC firm in Riyadh that has been in operation since 2013. The Riyadh office will advise clients in various sectors, including corporate M&A, financial services, equity and capital markets, real estate and construction, anti-trust and competition, privatisations, legislative drafting, regulatory, public policy and disputes.
