A&O appoints Miller to new Hong Kong role

Allen & Overy (A&O) has appointed capital markets partner Stephen Miller to a new role as head of capital markets in Asia. Miller will move from London to Hong Kong for the position, which begins in September. The move signals A&O’s increased offerings in Asia, including a focus on capital markets. In the past year, the firm has also brought in Alex Tao from Davis Polk & Wardwell and Charlotte Robins from Norton Rose Fulbright to work in the firm’s Hong Kong office. These hires followed a run of exits from the firm’s Hong Kong office in recent years.
