McDermott corporate head elected next global chair

McDermott Will & Emery corporate and transactional head Ira Coleman has been elected as the firm’s next global chairman. Coleman has worked at the firm for 24 years and currently serves as head of McDermott’s Miami office. Jeffrey Stone and Peter Sacripanti will step down after 8 years as co-chairs, although they will remain with the firm as members of the management committee.
