Quinn Emanuel hires financial services head David Berman from Macfarlanes

Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan has hired David Berman, former financial services head at Macfarlanes. He joined Macfarlanes in 2009 from investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort as a regulatory and finance specialist. Berman comes to Quinn Emanuel as a partner in the firm’s London office, where he will focus on regulatory and white-collar matters. The firm has made a number of lateral hires this year, including five lateral hires in the London office.
