Burges Salmon hires legal apprentices under new scheme
Burges Salmon has launched an apprenticeship programme under the Trailblazers Apprenticeship in Law Initiative, a new Government scheme. The firm has hired five apprentices who started work on 26 September. Eversheds has also hired apprentices under the Trailblazer Initiative. The programme involves two years of learning, encompassing four days per week of work at the firm and one day per week of study at the BPP law school. Upon completion of the programme, apprentices will earn a Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship Standard, along with a Certificate in Legal Practice, which allows participants to accelerate the process of earning the Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship.
