Paul Stacey named new Slaughters executive partner
Slaughter and May executive partner Richard Clark is set to retire this coming April, at which point finance partner Paul Stacey will replace Clark in the position. He joins senior partner Steve Cooke and practice partner David Wittman on the firm’s senior leadership team. Stacy has been with Slaughters for more than three decades, having joined the firm in 1981 as a trainee. His role as executive partner, which will last for five years, will involve management matters such as compliance, technology, people and finance.
