BLM restructuring hits Leeds office

As BLM implements restructuring efforts across its offices, the firm has made a decision to cut 19 of its 40 business support roles based out of its Leeds office. Although the firm is relocating in London, it will maintain a customer support base in Leeds following the cuts and operate out of a new, smaller office space. According to BLM senior partner Mike Brown, the firm is restructuring to respond to a shifting workplace environment in order to maintain growth. BLM reported turnover of £107.7m in 2015/16, a 3% increase over the prior year. However, the firm’s profits per equity partner dropped by 14% to £205,000 this year.
