A&O half-year revenue rises 13%
Allen & Overy (A&O) has reported financial results for the first half of 2016/17, revealing growth of 13 per cent to £731m. At this time last year, the firm’s growth stood at 3.6 per cent, increasing from £619.7m to £642m. A&O credits its growth to several factors, including new hires throughout Europe, Asia, and the US, as well as its work in London and the Asia Pacific region. This year’s results are the first for A&O under senior partner Wim Dejonghe and managing partner Andrew Ballheimer, both of whom were appointed to their current positions in early 2016.
