Clifford Chance announces plan to close Doha office

Six years after opening an office in Doha, Qatar, Clifford Chance has has announced that the office will close this month. Jason Mendens, who heads up the Doha office, will move to the firm’s Dubai office. According to a firm spokesperson, the closure is part of the firm’s long-term plans. The firm will continue to service its clients in Qatar, but will do so from Dubai and other global offices.
