White & Case revenue grows 3.5 per cent in London and 7 per cent globally
White & Case reported turnover of $1.6bn for 2016, representing an increase of nearly 7 per cent over the previous year. Revenue for the firm’s London arm came in at $290m, a 3.5 per cent increase over 2015.
Oliver Brettle, executive partner at the London office, credited the past year’s growth to several factors, including UK and international deals, along with strategic hires and promotions.
Profit per equity partner also rose, increasing from $2.02m to $2.05m. The firm increased headcount, which now stands at 299 equity partners and 1,957 total lawyers.
